Donald J. Trump’s Victory

This Historic U.S. Presidential Inauguration Celebration Coincides with the National Republican Asian Assembly’s (NRAA) 30th Anniversary

Washington, DC (December 22, 2016) The Asian American Inaugural Gala Committee (AAIGC), with support from the National Republican Asian Assembly (NRAA), and other Asian and American business and community leaders announce the welcoming of the Trump Administration as it takes office next month.

To commemorate the election of President-Elect Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America, the Asian American Gala Committee announces its Gala to be held on Saturday evening, January 21, 2016 from 5 pm to 10 pm at the prestigious Park Hyatt Hotel located at 1201 24th Street N.W.  Washington DC, 20037.The program will include a cocktail hour, a VIP reception attended by many Asian, American and international dignitaries, an awards presentation, keynote speakers and an inaugural dinner. The evening will include entertainment with traditional dancing to commemorate the upcoming the Asian New Year.

“Our mission is to educate Asian Americans, not just Republican Asian Americans, and the community at large, that we share the same core values with the Republican party,” says Mr. Alfred H. Liu, A.I.A., the NRAA’s National Chairman, and a global businessman, statesman and architect. “Those values include self-reliance, self-determination, academic achievement, respect for parents and authority, strong families, and respect for tradition and heritage —all values which have historically made America great,” he said.

Tickets will be available on first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited. Please register to purchase tickets to the Gala and special VIP Reception, inquire about sponsorship, or make a charitable donation.

Mr. Liu further notes, “As we celebrate our new president, we take immense pride in our achievement as Asian Americans. This event will highlight the accomplishments of both the Republican Party and the Asian American Community. Our community is now the fastest growing in the United States. Today, we have the highest median household income, and the highest educational attainment of any group in the United States. Our diverse community shares many similar values as Mr. Trump. These include hard work, education and strong family values which are the cornerstone to our success as a community.”

Following the gala celebration, on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm (tentative schedule), at the same venue, an Asian American Investor’s Forum will be held at which many high-profile business and political leaders, and other dignitaries, supporters, and guests will attend.
